If you run into any trouble during the installation, I’d be happy to answer any questions in the comments area.

I have to agree with Rob on this one. I’ve been looking for help with pommo on an issue and if I had realized there was no support I probably wouldn’t have used a full day setting up the form…considering going back to phpList, but their software intricacies are what drove me to pommo haha..
I’ve been using Pommo for a couple of monthsand although the mailing bit works well enough, it has some major problems. Firstly, the export users command doesn’t work, and secondly it doesn’t auto-complete the default entries on the “hidden” fields which are required for each new user. There’s also basically no support for Pommo and I’ve reached the point where I’m in the process of exploring other avenues.
The export function not working? Can anybody else confirm this? I am planning to migrate from PhpList to PoMMo and I want to be really sure that all function are working correctly..I have a list of about 10000 users and to think of manually entering emails one by one really freaks me off.
I was trying to set the mailing throttle value but when i give update its not pointing to the new set value, its going back to default value.
This could possibly be due to a faulty install, I would double check that everything was set up properly according to PoMMo’s install instructions – http://pommo.org/Install. Also make sure the correct directories have been CHMOD’d so they are set at the right permissions. Let us know if that fixes it!
Thanks for the post, I’ve been using aWeber to handle my email marketing but the cost is really adding up. I’m going to try out PoMMo and see if I can get away with a free service until I build my list up.
PoMMo is amazing! We use it for our company’s weekly newsletter, which we use to advertise specials and discounts to a list of over 10,000 emails. We switched from a paid service to PoMMo 3 months ago. So far no problems!
I’ve been using PoMMo for a few years now and it really is reliable and easy. Definitely recommend it!
